CMI SIDEWINDER Multi-Purpose Centrifuge (MPC)

The CMI SIDEWINDER Multi-Purpose Centrifuge (MPC) is everything customers have come to expect from a company who has been supplying centrifugal solids/liquids separation equipment since 1938. The same quality, reliability, and ease of maintenance found in CMI's proven vertical centrifuge models are now available in a unique horizontal vibratory centrifuge. Additionally, the CMI SIDEWINDER MPC shares the same footprint as many horizontal machines now in use allowing for quick and easy upgrades.

Some of the key features of the CMI SIDEWINDER MPC include:

• High-speed capabilities for a drier product
• Timing belt for synchronous vibration with external access for ease of maintenance
• Reversible, replaceable product discharge chute doubling the life of the chute
• Sealed drive assembly for easy replacement and less downtime
• A wide range of speed capabilities for use with a variety of materials and particle sizes;
• Low centrifuge operating costs compared with comparable equipment
• Higher product recovery than screen-scroll machines means less equipment necessary to dewater finer size fractions

In side-by-side tests with other horizontal centrifuges currently in use, the CMI SIDEWINDER MPC has achieved lower overall product moisture and higher recoveries. The CMI SIDEWINDER MPC can be utilized on materials from 1 ½" to 100 mesh, including coal, coal refuse, sand, potash, and waste materials.
