Features of the CMI Model EBR Screen-Scroll Centrifuges
are:
- High Capacity – CMI’s
Screen-Scroll Centrifuge is capable of reaching high
capacities without restrictions or loss of feed velocity
due to its large feed opening.
- Interchangeable Design –
All CMI Model EBR Centrifuge parts, with the exception
of the rotating process components, with those of
the Model
EBW Centrifuges, which allows for reduced parts
inventories.
- Long Life Parts Package® –
Every CMI Model EBR Screen-Scroll Centrifuge includes
the Long Life Parts Package® as standard equipment,
which significantly reduces the cost-per-ton of processed
solids.
- Direct Oil Lubrication –Internal
bearings are continuously lubricated by a separately
driven gear pump. With constant filtering and a low
pressure-sensing switch, positive protection is afforded
to the bearings and gear unit.
- High Strength Gearing –
The CMI Model EBR Screen-Scroll Centrifuge features
a drive unit and gear box to maintain the differential
speed required between the screen and the scroll.
The package is a sealed unit that can be replaced
without exposing internal parts to the dirty atmosphere
that exists at most machine installations.
- Easy Maintenance – Due to
its unique vertical design, the screen/basket assembly
is the first rotating component to remove during maintenance.
CMI’s cost effective screen design often outlasts
competitive units costing two to three times as much.
In addition, belts on the CMI Model EBR Screen-Scroll
Centrifuge can be changed by removing two bolts and
one oil line from the bottom without any disassembly
of the top parts.
